Megitza is a highlander from Poland who lived in the United States for 12 years. As a young artist, she began her musical career in Chicago, where she played mostly world music and Highlander roots, but fell in love deeply with blues, country, and rock music. Her Highlander voice is unmistakable.
She has performed thousands of concerts around the world, including the most prestigious the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Vienna Jazz Fest in Austria, Woodstock, Luxfest in Poland, and in the USA at Music Without Borders, Millenium Park, the Chicago Summer Dance Festival, the Lotus Festival, the World Music Festival and many more.
She won the Golden Buzzer on Poland's Got Talent TV show and reached the finals of Must Be the Music TV talent show in Poland. Megitza has released eight studio albums and multiple singles.

Megitza was born in Zakopane, at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. She grew up with the southern Highlander dialect as her first language and the mountains as her first horizon. In 2001, at the age of 15, she moved to the United States on her own, where she played hundreds of concerts, crisscrossing America from Rhode Island to California, fulfilling her American dream. Chicago introduced her to blues, rock, and soul. Concerts in Colorado, Arizona, and Texas exposed her to American country music, not just the music, but the way of thinking that, as a native highlander, was already familiar to her. Highlanders are the βPolish cowboysβ. In Europe, after returning from the States, Megitza performed on stages that define music of the world: the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Vienna Jazz Fest in Austria, and the Rudolstadt Festival in Germany. In Poland, she gained recognition thanks to two television shows that helped her reach a mass audience: the finale of "Must Be the Music" with judges Kora, ElΕΌbieta Zapendowska, and Adam Sztaba, and the Golden Buzzer from Agnieszka ChyliΕska on Polandβs got Talent. Eight studio albums. Numerous singles. And now, Megitza's sonic evolution, one that no one planned, turned out to be the only right one: from Highlander roots through world music to rock-soul-country-blues, exactly where even the Highlander dialect sounds natural.
